Each week, we'll approach the season through a different sense and see what emerges through you and onto the page.
Textures is a generative writing workshop rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and discovery. Each session includes a guided sensory experience followed by time for in-class writing.
You may find yourself following a memory, an image, a feeling, a question, a story, or something entirely unexpected. The writing is yours to follow wherever it leads.
There will be opportunities to share your writing or experience with the group. Sharing is optional.
This is for anyone curious about exploring writing through the senses. No writing experience is necessary.
When: Six weekly 90-minute sessions beginning the week of October 12
Where: Online via Google Meet
